Having worked in a mid-sized Canadian public school system for nearly 30 years as teacher, school principal and system administrator, I observed first-hand the positive impact of Reading Sprouts and Reading Roots on beginning and struggling readers.  During my career, no other program rivalled the results in terms of students achievement as clearly born-out by the provincial test result. On the international front, Reading Sprouts and Reading Roots has proven to be the most effective program for non-native English language learners. The positive results have improved both young and mature learners. Over the past three years I have personally observed the training for nearly 200 teachers who have in turn influenced the learning of hundreds of children. The improvement in English language learning are undisputed in both reading and writing. The approach employed by Jenny Miller is time-tested and proven to work in Canada and abroad.
