Reading Roots Magnetic Board

Children love the magnetic boards, and they are an integral part of reinforcing the learning that happens in our four core programs. The boards help students develop phonemic awareness in a segmented and interactive way.  They allow students to blend and segment words – the foundation of reading.

The Roots board package has all the single letters of the alphabet and the most common graphemes (letter combinations). Students can make almost any one syllable word with the graphemes provided.  They do word chains, or word connections, and change one letter to make new words.

The board and magnets come packaged together and will be shipped in a padded box.
